A great way to start building your pantry supply is by stocking up on the best sale items each week. I try to go to Kroger every week and take advantage of the best sale items even if I don't need anything. By doing this you won't have to pay full price for something when you do need it. I currently have a super large supply of cream cheese, pasta, chicken broth, and evaporated milk. So any recipe that calls for one these ingredients automatically gets put on the menu :) Most of these were free or nearly free!
